Privacy Policy

Lagree Mi, LLC (“Lagree Mi,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website and related services that link to this Privacy Policy (the “Site”). This Policy explains what we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

1. Laws we follow

We strive to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and to provide California‑style rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (together, “CCPA/CPRA”), even if we are not legally required to do so. We also comply with the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) where applicable.

2. Information we collect

  • You provide: account details (name, email, phone), billing and shipping information, class and membership selections, communications, forms, and any content you submit.
  • Automatically: device and browsing data (IP address, identifiers, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate location), via cookies, pixels, and similar tools.
  • From others: payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) for transaction confirmations; scheduling/booking providers; marketing and analytics partners (see Section 7).

We do not store full payment card numbers; those are handled by our payment processors.

3. How we use information

  • Provide and personalize the Site, classes, memberships, and support
  • Process payments and enforce our Terms (including no‑show/late‑cancel fees)
  • Send transactional messages (receipts, service notices, schedule updates)
  • Send marketing with your consent/where permitted (opt out anytime)
  • Secure, debug, and improve the Site and our services
  • Comply with law and protect rights

4. SMS/text, calls, and email

If you share a phone number or email, you agree we may send transactional and marketing messages. Message/data rates may apply. You may opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP and get help via HELP. Email marketing includes an unsubscribe link; if you can’t locate an opt‑out control, contact hello@lagreemi.com and we’ll assist.

5. How we share information

  • Service providers/processors: hosting, analytics, scheduling, customer support, payment processing (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
  • Advertising/analytics partners: we use tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Meta technologies to measure performance and (where enabled) deliver more relevant content.
  • Business transfers, legal compliance, safety: as required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some tracking for cross‑context behavioral advertising may be considered a “share” under CPRA. See Section 7 and “Your Privacy Choices.”

6. Your rights (California and similar jurisdictions)

Subject to verification and exceptions, you may request to: (i) know/access the information we’ve collected; (ii) correct inaccuracies; (iii) delete information; (iv) opt out of “selling/sharing” for targeted ads; and (v) limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (SPI). Submit requests at hello@lagreemi.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

7. Cookie & Tracking Policy

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to run the Site and understand usage.

  • Strictly necessary: keep you signed in, process transactions, secure the Site.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity to understand visits and improve performance.
  • Advertising/retargeting: Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and similar tools may “share” identifiers and page‑visit data for ad relevance.

Your controls: You can manage cookies in your browser. To opt out of analytics/ads where available, use built‑in controls (e.g., Google’s opt‑out). You can also email hello@lagreemi.com and we will honor your opt‑out.

Do Not Track: We do not currently respond to browser DNT signals.

8. Data retention & security

We keep information as long as needed for the purposes described (and as required by law) and then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards; no system is 100% secure.

9. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Minimum class age is 16 (participants under 18 require a parent/guardian waiver).

10. International visitors

Our systems are in the United States. By using the Site, you understand your data will be processed in the U.S.

Terms of Use, Sale & Membership

These Terms of Use, Sale & Membership (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lagree Mi website, studio, classes, memberships, and products (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who may use the Services

You must be at least 16 years old to attend classes; participants under 18 must have a parent/guardian execute the Waiver (Section 12). You agree to provide accurate account, contact, and payment information and to keep it updated.

2. Accounts, communications, and consent

You authorize us to contact you about your account, bookings, payments, schedule changes, and similar transactional matters by email, text, or phone. Marketing messages are optional; unsubscribe or reply STOP to opt out at any time.

3. Purchases & payments

We may accept payments online and/or in‑studio via third‑party processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). You authorize charges to the payment method on file, including fees described below. Prices, taxes, and promotions may change at our discretion (changes do not affect completed purchases). We do not store full card numbers.

All sales are final for memberships, class credit packs, services, and merchandise. No refunds or transfers.

4. Memberships (auto‑renew; 3‑month minimum)

  • Auto‑renew: Monthly memberships automatically renew each billing cycle unless canceled as described below.
  • Minimum term: A three (3) month minimum commitment applies.
  • Cancel after minimum: You may cancel for the next billing cycle after you complete the 3rd billing cycle (see Section 5). There are no partial‑period refunds.
  • Billing issues: If a payment fails, you authorize us to retry; we may suspend access until the account is current.

California Automatic Renewal Law (ARL): Under Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §§ 17600–17606, we provide clear auto‑renewal terms, obtain your affirmative consent before charging, send acknowledgment of terms and cancellation process, and offer a cost‑effective, timely, and easy‑to‑use cancellation method.

5. Canceling a membership

You can cancel (a) by using our online cancellation process by emailing hello@lagreemi.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period (or the end of the 3‑month minimum term—whichever is later). We may ask you to verify your identity for account security.

6. Class credit packs (do not auto‑renew)

Class credit packs do not auto‑renew. The late‑cancel and no‑show rules in Section 8 apply to class credits just like memberships.

7. Booking rules & studio etiquette

  • Arrive a few minutes early; for safety, we may not allow entry more than 10 minutes after class start.
  • Grip socks required.
  • Phones off the Megaformer and not in use during class.
  • No pets or unattended children in the studio.
  • Be respectful of instructors, staff, and fellow clients; follow instructor guidance.

We may reassign a reserved machine if you are not present at class start time.

8. Cancellations, late‑cancels & no‑shows (fees)

  • Cancellation window: Cancel at least 12 hours before the scheduled class start.
  • Late‑cancel: Canceling within 12 hours of class start incurs a $15 late‑cancel fee and forfeits the class credit (if applicable).
  • No‑show: Failure to attend without canceling results in a $20 no‑show fee and forfeits the class credit (if applicable).
  • Charges: You authorize us to charge these fees to the payment method on file.

9. Merchandise orders

Owners may allow merchandise to be booked/reserved online for studio pickup and may also accept online payment. All merchandise sales are final sale. Title passes upon pickup or shipment (if offered). Inspect items at pickup; report issues to hello@lagreemi.com the same day.

10. Health & medical

Classes are physically demanding. You confirm you are in suitable health, will follow instructions, and will stop if you feel pain or dizziness. Consult your physician before starting a new exercise program, especially if pregnant or managing a condition. If pregnant, continuing Lagree may be appropriate with your doctor’s approval and instructor modifications; we do not recommend starting Lagree for the first time during pregnancy.

11. Intellectual property & acceptable use

All content, trademarks, and materials on the Site/studio are owned by Lagree Mi or its licensors. You may not copy, record, livestream, resell, or exploit classes or materials. Do not misuse the Services (e.g., spam, reverse engineering, posting unsafe content).

12. Participant Waiver, Release, Assumption of Risk & Indemnity

Please read carefully—this affects your legal rights. In consideration of access to the studio, classes, equipment, and Services, you (and if you are under 18, your parent/guardian) agree:

  • Assumption of risk: Exercise classes involve inherent risks of injury (e.g., muscle strain, falls, equipment malfunction), illness (including communicable diseases), and property loss. You knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks, whether caused by you, other participants, equipment, or ordinary negligence of Lagree Mi.
  • Release: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and discharge Lagree Mi, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims or liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation, except to the extent caused by gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violations of law.
  • Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold Lagree Mi harmless from third‑party claims arising out of your conduct or breach of these Terms.
  • Medical treatment: You consent to emergency first aid and treatment deemed necessary and accept responsibility for related costs.
  • Photography/recordings: We may capture photos or short videos in‑studio to document community life and promote classes. If you prefer not to appear, tell the front desk before class and avoid the camera’s field of view; we’ll honor reasonable requests not to feature you.

You agree the Waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by California law and that if any portion is held invalid, the remainder shall still be enforced.

13. Disclaimers; limitation of liability

Classes and content are provided “as is.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit total liability for claims relating to the Services to the amounts you paid to Lagree Mi during the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Resolving disputes (informal first; then arbitration; small claims carve‑out)

  • Informal resolution: Contact hello@lagreemi.com; we’ll try to resolve within 30 days.
  • Arbitration: Except for claims that qualify for small claims court, any dispute between you and Lagree Mi will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its consumer rules in Los Angeles County, California. Either party may seek injunctive relief for IP misuse in court.
  • Class action waiver: Disputes are arbitrated only on an individual basis; no class or representative proceedings.
  • 30‑day opt‑out: You may opt out of arbitration/class waiver by emailing hello@lagreemi.com within 30 days of your first acceptance of these Terms.

15. Governing law & venue

California law governs, without regard to conflicts rules. Subject to Section 14, exclusive venue is in Los Angeles County, California.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time; changes are effective when posted with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes to auto‑renewal will be provided in a notice and apply going forward.

Our approach

  • Build and test with semantic HTML, proper labeling, focus order, and keyboard navigation
  • Provide text alternatives for non‑text content and sufficient color contrast
  • Avoid content that flashes or auto‑plays; provide user controls
  • Maintain readable typography and responsive layouts
  • Train our team and work with our developers to remediate issues

Ongoing improvements

Accessibility is a process. As we add features, we review and test for WCAG 2.2 AA alignment. Some third‑party integrations (e.g., scheduling, payment, embedded media) may present issues outside our control, but we encourage vendors to support accessibility and will provide alternative access where feasible.
